Lime and Avocado Black Beans

Simple to prepare and great flavor! Make this as a side dish or as a vegetarian meal rolled in whole wheat tortillas. Can also add diced tomatoes to make more like a salsa or dip. 

1  15-ounce can black beans
1/2 lime, juiced
1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
1 teaspoon ground cumin
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 avocado

Drain beans well and add to bowl. Add lime juice, cilantro and cumin. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve at room temperature with freshly-sliced avocado on top.
